In a science lesson

Solid, Liquid or Gas?
 

A KS2 activity to test knowledge of sorting materials into Solid, Liquid and Gas. Use at the beginning of a unit to reinforce knowledge of the properties of each, through whole class use on a big screen or in a Suite, or as an end or unit assessment to be completed individually. Children receive immediate feedback on their progress and can even work on a column at a time where appropriate. The outcome of the activity can be printed, allowing quick and easy recording to be glued into a child's Science book. A fun and interactive way for children to practice, consolidate and understand the forms of solid, liquid and gas. Generates discussion at the beginning or end of a unit.
